The Team
At Orbital Sentry, we’re building systems that don’t exist yet—because the risks our world faces won’t be solved by what already does. Our team brings together decades of experience across space systems engineering, deep tech, AI, and enterprise go-to-market. We’ve launched satellites, delivered national-security programs, and brought breakthrough technologies to market in some of the most demanding industries on Earth.
What unites us is a shared belief: solving meaningful challenges requires persistence, wisdom, and comfort in managing complexity. We’re here to build the infrastructure that helps communities, first responders, defense & intelligence agencies, and commercial organizations act faster when it matters most.
Meet the team designing the future of persistent Earth awareness.

Co-founder and CTO
Keith Coste has more than three decades of experience delivering advanced capabilities for national security, civil, and commercial space missions. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California in 1992 and a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University. Keith began his career at Hughes Space and Communications as a propulsion engineer, where he contributed flight hardware to dozens of Department of Defense, NASA, and commercial missions throughout the 1990s. His work has spanned the full mission lifecycle, including system architecture, hardware development and qualification, procurement, integration, launch, and on-orbit operations. He later spent time at The Aerospace Corporation supporting major U.S. aerospace programs, with a focus on national security systems, CubeSat technologies, and launch vehicle development. Keith later joined NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where he spent 21 years leading Department of Defense programs and transitioning into optical systems. At JPL, helped develop multiple patents and optical technologies and served as a Project Manager and Chief Architect for National Security Space, responsible for the architecture and delivery of significant defense system capabilities. Following his retirement from JPL, Keith founded Sensitic Technologies, focused on the development of novel terrestrial and space-based sensor systems, and co-founded Orbital Sentry, where he provides technical leadership leveraging his extensive space systems expertise.
